It’s time to expand. As remote work takes hold, our customers are spreading out across the country. Nearly 5 million Americans have moved from major US city centers since 2020 because of remote-work opportunities, according to Adam Ozimek, the chief economist for the Economic Innovation Group. In fact, as of 2022, 26% of U.S. employees now work remotely. Enter a growing market – Riders are leaving major city centers, but where are they going? Well, this might surprise you but South Carolina’s population grew 1.7% from 2021 to 2022, behind only Florida and Idaho. According to the Motley Fool, median home prices in the US were $354,649 in 2022, in contrast, in South Carolina the median home price was 17% less at $293,445. Its low real estate prices and property taxes make it a destination to not just visit but to live and possibly to ride off into the sunset in. If those aren’t indicators of a growing market, I don’t know what are.

Be where riders are – Moving to South Carolina, means living in a sub-tropical climate with mild temperatures and the potential for year-round riding. Not to mention, motorcycle registration is only $10. It is the home of the Spring Beach Rally 2023, also called “Myrtle Beach Bike Week 2023″ which is a week-long Motorcycle Rally that attracts over 500,000 visitors to the area each May. This year it will be held on May 12th-21st. Motorcyclists are also drawn to South Carolina because it has some really amazing rides like Highway 28, Cherokee Foothills Scenic Hwy, Caesars Head State Park, Savannah River Run, and Low Country Beach Loop. With all this riding going on, South Carolina is an easy choice for our expansion.
